CarbonNet, Australia
The CarbonNet Project in Australia is investigating the potential for establishing a world class, large-scale, multi-user carbon capture and storage (CCS) network. The network could integrate multiple carbon dioxide (CO2 ) capture projects in the State of Victoria’s Latrobe Valley, transporting CO2 via a common-use pipeline and injecting it deep into offshore underground storage sites in Victoria’s Gippsland region. CCG assisted the project team to identify and navigate the complex commercial risks associated with the project providing valuable commercial analysis and insight.
LNG Arbitration, Singapore
CCG assisted a global tier 1 law firm in an LNG trading dispute regarding non delivery of an LNG cargo. CCG assisted the sucessful defence of the claim by providing expert advice and analysis regarding the operations of the subject LNG terminal and the observed shipping practices.
The claim was sucessfully defended in the arbitral proceedings conducted in Signapore.
Western Australia, M&A
CCG is mandated by a private operator of an Oil & Gas operation in offshore Western Australia to identify suitable farm in partners to develop their asset. Services included developemnt f a farm down strategy, assessment of resource, development of the data room, regulatory engagement and farm out process.
Singapore CCS, Singapore
The Economic Development Board (EDB) are embarking on a multifaceted programme to decarbonise industry and position Singapore as a leader oin low carbon manufacturing . CCG is assisting the EDB in navigating the new world of CCS with commerical and risk management advice on various project initiatives.
